Quickstart
This takes you from nothing to a live pool with your own hook.
Before you start
You need:
- A browser wallet extension such as MetaMask, Rabby or Coinbase Wallet. WalletConnect and mobile-only wallets are not supported yet.
- A little ETH on Robinhood Chain to pay for two transactions: deploying the hook and creating the pool.
There is no Robinhood testnet for Uniswap V4, so everything you deploy uses real funds. Hooks written by SuperHooks are not audited. Read Security before putting money behind one.
1. Sign in
- Open app.superhooks.dev.
- Pick your wallet and approve the connection.
- Sign the message. This proves the wallet is yours. It costs no gas and sends no transaction.
Your workspace (chats, hooks and pools) is tied to that wallet address.
2. Describe your hook
Type what you want the pool to do. For example:
I'm launching a token paired with ETH. Build a hook that sends 1% of every swap to my wallet.
SuperHooks may ask a question if a missing choice would change the contract. Otherwise it writes the hook and shows it as a card in the chat.
3. Review the hook card
The card shows:
- The contract name and a one-line description.
- A setup summary: every rule the hook enforces, next to the pool it is meant for.
- The permissions the hook uses, such as
afterSwap. - A badge: Compiling, then Compiles or a list of compiler errors.
- View code, which opens the full Solidity source.
If there are compiler errors, press Fix with SuperHooks. The errors are sent to the chat and the hook is rewritten.
4. Deploy
Press Deploy on the card. The app will:
- Switch your wallet to Robinhood Chain (and add the network if needed).
- Find a hook address that matches the hook's permissions. See Hook addresses.
- Simulate the deployment so a failing deploy is caught before you pay for it.
- Ask you to confirm one transaction in your wallet.
When it is confirmed, the card shows the hook's address with a link to the explorer.
5. Create the pool
Press Prepare pool on the hook card, or tell SuperHooks which pool you want. For example:
Create a pool for my token 0xYourTokenAddress against ETH using that hook. Start at 0.00001 ETH per token.
It prepares the pool and shows a pool card. Press Create pool and confirm the transaction. The card changes to Live.
For any token other than ETH, WETH, USDG or an official Robinhood stock token, give the contract address. See Tokens.
6. Check on it
Your hook is now on the Hooks page and your pool on the Pools page. Ask in chat any time:
How is my pool doing right now?
